I have a laptop that I have found is much faster and convenient to use than my desktop. Most of my business files and work is now being done on this unit, and my concern is overheating, and dust.
On my desktop, I vacuum it out every quarter or so, and it stays on 24/7 to run backups/virus scans/etc. in the evening time.
I've been leaving my laptop on to do the same things, but am concerned about it overheating, and I don't really want to crack it open for a good cleaning. I don't know if it's even necessary.
What's your thoughts? Am I setting myself up for a laptop lobotomy?
