The Monitor to Buy

If you're looking to do an upgrade, or change a monitor to something better, now is probably the right time to do so. LED monitors and TV's are both something that's not just the next fad. The color reproduction along with contrast make the images actually look life like if you provide them with the right signal.

Most people probably are right now sitting on an LCD or a tube style display at the moment. If that's the case, you'll notice a nice jump in the contrast as well as colors that look almost like they're real. This technology is great, it's a great step, and prices makes them finally where you can pick them up, they should be about the same as an LCD. They will be a little more, but for the extra couple of bucks, it's definitely worth it.

On a side note, they also consume less power than other monitors, making them a great alternative, this way, if you have a good battery backup system, you'll easily be able to power this monitor without worrying about too much draw on your battery backup system.

When picking one out, I will give one word of caution, stick with brand names, and don't buy online unless you have seen the same monitor and like the picture. Since vision is really subjective, make sure you have a chance to look at the picture before you pick it up to make sure you get exactly what you wanted.
