March 2012 Video Editing Computer Kit

This video editing computer kit was designed for John.  I can't believe it, I've actually gone with AMD for this build.  Performance and a tight budget made the choice clear.  As usual, an Asus motherboard, and an Ultra power supply.

I went a little less strict with the RAM timings since on a video editing computer, quantity trumps speed.  That being said, if you still want to have a killer gaming computer, this one will be more than able to run all the current games out there.  The only targets for this PC were to stay within a budget of between $800 and $1000 and have it designed primarily for video cards.

If you would like to request your own custom computer kit, fill out the build your own computer kit form.

TIP! A Windows installation DVD, a monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers are not included with this build.
